Noodle Bowl New Bedford (NBNB) is a new concept restaurant in Downtown New Bedford. The food is inspired by traditional techniques and international flavors.
NBNB comes from the hearts and minds of the Jezierski family. Maddi, a native-born Cape Verdean, immigrated to the United States at the age of 6. Family meals were cooked fresh, 3 times a day, 7 days a week, using ingredients from her mother's large and diverse "community" garden. Jim grew up on an Eastern European diet with ingredients sourced from their family farm and supplemented with local fresh water fish and meats from nearby farms.
The product of the combined cultures takes shape in Chef Matt Jezierski - a classically trained chef with over 10 years of experience. Having lived in both San Francisco’s Chinatown and North Beach neighborhoods, he was able to experience a wide array of food styles and work with creative chefs.
The goal is to offer a different style of food to the area, using seasonal and local ingredients as often as possible and to change the menu as the seasons dictate. NBNB offers downtown New Bedford a bright spot for a quick lunch or a unique dinner experience for the community.
The menu will feature traditional house made bone and vegetable broths that, when combined with unique ingredients, create specialty noodle bowls that highlight a variety of nationalities.
